Learn self-defence techniques with Empowering Women

In today's climate of constant danger, it is imperative that women learn the basics of self-defence in order to protect themselves from harassers, snatch thieves, muggers, rapists and other miscreants. This is where Master Francis Albert's self-defence methods come in.
As part of the upcoming Empowering Women in the Workplace Seminar, organised by HP in co-operation with Star-Jobs Online, Albert will be holding a talk on crime awareness and self-defence practices.
Learn how to defend yourself with Francis Albert's jujitsu techniques. There will also be self-defence demonstrations incorporating jujitsu techniques. Jujitsu is especially suited for women, since it relies on speed and fluid movements, enabling smaller-sized persons to disable bigger and stronger opponents.
Topics covered in the talk include office sexual harassment and crime awareness approaches. There will also be demonstrations on how to ward off attackers or thieves in certain crime situations.
Albert, a fifth-dan black belt in Jujitsu, is chief instructor of the Tanaka Jujitsu Academy, as well as president of Pertubuhan Seni Beladiri Jujitsu TanakaRyu of Selangor and the Federal Territory.
