Empowering workshop

THE Empowering Women in the Workplace workshop by HP and Star-Jobs.com, will be held on May 24 at Menara Star, Petaling Jaya.

The workshop will also feature a talk on How to Achieve Work-Life Balance by communication strategist and motivational consultant Faridah Hameed and a presentation by one of HP's managers, Mariani Mohamed, called Practise Lead – FSI Consulting and Integration.

Participants will also get a view a self-defence session on the art of Jujitsu by trainer Francis Albert. Organised by Richmark Training, the video aims to help women tackle every day encounters like office sexual harassment and walking alone in unsecured areas as well as what to do in case of possible rape. There will be a lucky draw session at the end.
