Exotic scent
THE goodness of green tea is often touted in skincare. Elizabeth Arden takes it one step further by incorporating the drink into its latest scent, Green Tea Exotica.
Perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux was inspired by the plumeria and hibiscus flowers he encountered while on an expedition to Costa Rica. The fragance is a harmonious fusion of tea notes, fresh citrus and aromatic spearmint contrasted with lush and exotic florals, blending with earthy woods and sheer musk tones.
The top notes comprise bergamot, sicilian lemon as well as kaffir limes from Malaysia, the middle notes offer Brassavola orchid, Rangoon Purple Vine, green tea and Pancratium lily, leading to a dry down of mahogany wood and ambrette seeds.
Available at Elizabeth Arden counters.
