A pampering makeover session for men

CloveTWO Online and skincare brand Lab Series Skincare for Men organised a makeover contest recently and it proved to be an eventful day for the five lucky winners.
The contest, which turned the spotlight away from the ladies for once, was aimed at men who wanted to look good and have better skin. The event was meant to educate men on a proper skincare regimen while providing the winners with a fun and relaxing session.
Winners Arfian Yusof, Ram Gopal Raj, Nicholas Chan, Kenny Chin and Zaha Izrin Zahari were selected based on nominations. The lucky five were nominated by family and friends and some even nominated themselves. Among the reasons given were that they had been having the same look for a long time and were badly in need of a makeover.
The event kicked off at the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur with a consultation session for the winners by Lab Series Skincare for Men skincare consultants, followed by a pampering skincare and facial session.

The winners were then whisked off to Philosophy for Men where they had the opportunity to select their wardrobe for the day. Philosophy For Men expert consultants were on hand to assist them with advice on suitable selections.
The fabulous five were then off to La Mode Coiffure for a hairstyling session where they had their hair restyled by La Mode's Alex Lim. During the styling session, the men were also provided with advice on Wella products, from Wella Professionals hair colors and Sebastian Professional range, required to maintain and care for their new hairstyle.

The highlight of the day was a photo session with the winners, who were also presented with a hamper of goodies provided by Wella Malaysia and a RM1,000 fashion voucher from Philosophy for Men.
Their transformation from Average Joe to M. Suave was captured by a crew from TheStarOnline.tv. Look for the video on CloveTWO in the weeks to come.
