Bachelor / Bachelorette Party
A Bachelor or Bachelorette party immediately brings to mind, more often or not, partying the night away with your best buddies – a party thrown for the bride or groom to bid farewell to the last night of ‘singlehood'.
Typically, a bachelorette night start with dinner followed by an evening of games and drinking. However, there are several other options rather than drinking the night away and maybe not even remembering what happened. Here are a few tips for the maid of honor in case you run out of ideas.
Hosting a spa night would definitely be a good idea as a night of relaxation and pampering will take out the stress for the bride and also yourself. Hire some masseuses to the venue and prepare a homemade spa area. This allows you to relax at the comfort of your own home and also be able to catch up with girlfriends.
If you have the budget to spare, why not take the weekend away and whisk the bridal party off to an island for some sun, sand and surf. Places such as Pangkor Laut, Langkawi, Redang just to name a few. Enquire about hotels that provide activities such as water sports, snorkeling, jungle trekking and etc. It will surely be a memorable weekend before the big day.
Instead of organizing a dinner, why not make it during the day and have a luncheon instead. Gather close friends and family of the bride to this luncheon to make it an intimate and meaningful afternoon together to celebrate the joy.
There are so many ways to make the Bachelorette party unique and meaningful instead of the usual wild night. Gather the bridal party together to make this ‘last day' of singlehood meaningful and memorable as a token of your friendship to her.
