Shallow as Hell

I recently watched a movie called “Shallow Hal”. It’s an interesting show about a guy who was only interested in women with good looks, until he bumped into Anthony Robbins, a well renowned motivational speaker, who changed his perspective into seeing a women’s inner beauty instead of the outward appearance . The result, he began to visualize some of the most unattractive women as being really beautiful. He eventually falls in love with an unattractive fat woman, which to his eyes looked very slim and beautiful.

Everyone responds positively to good looks.

The $65,000 question is , are all men shallow? Are they only interested in beautiful women while personality and character traits take the back seat? Well unfortunately most men are hard wired to be “ Shallow”. If they were not attracted by beauty, there would, probably be no procreation. I believe there is a reason God created men the way they are. So don’t go bashing them for something they are not personally responsible for.

Inner beauty plays a very big role in the choice of a life partner, but unfortunately very few men would opt for someone less attractive, physically. The personality trait, though being important, always takes the second place when choosing a partner.
