Weddings

I was invited yesterdays to a wedding by my friend Karen. Apparently although I did not know the couple, Karen was close to them and I knew a couple of their friends who knew them.

The wedding was set in the garden of one of the couple’s parent’s home amidst lovely greenery. The canopy was well designed to capture a lovely outdoorsy party feeling. Although we had huge fans blowing droplets of water to cool the area, it was still quite warm.

I think garden weddings are lovely, but our climate is just not suitable for it unless we Malaysians learn to dress down, we can forget about having garden weddings.

The party ended with a bit of dancing. I loved the people, and the time with them although I was dead tired and was ready to collapse once reaching home.

This week will begin a series of 2 more weddings for the next two weeks.
