Blows Purge out the Inmost Being

How many times have we felt that we are being attacked on all sides. Sometimes our closest friends are the ones who would rebuke us or correct us. No correction seem right at the moment but it will produce a harvest of righteousness.

 

A famous proverb says, "Blows from a friend are faithful". Paul, a great missionary of Christ said, "I carry on myself the marks of Christ". Sometimes we need to be wounded, to be healed, I don't mean in the physical sense. Sometimes our wound can help be a catalyst to heal others.

Feel like being seared in a hot pan? Take heart, just like food cooked well, you will become a sweeter person

 

When a friend rebukes or corrects you, remember, beatings purge out the inmost being, it's your closet friend who can see the blind spots in your life and help you become a better person. You will never know or understand how much of evil is stored inside you until some beatings purge them out. The nice thing about these beatings is they work like a laxative and leaves no marks although they can be emotionally painful at first.

 

Walk with the wise and you will grow wise, seek friends who are wiser than you that will help you move up in life. Those who will not fear to correct you. Great successful people will have no hesitation to correct you if you are their friend and they are genuinely interested in your wellbeing
