Britney Spears loses custody battle

Troubled pop star Britney Spears (25) temporarily lost custody of her two sons after a court battle with ex-hubby Kevin Federline (29) on Oct 1.

Court documents state that Federline "is to retain physical custody of the minor children on Wednesday Oct 3, 2007 at 12pm until further order of the court."
The pair had two sons together, Sean Preston (2) and Jayden James (1).
