Charlize Theron to watch Oscars on TV

Oscar winner Charlize Theron will not be attending this year's Academy Awards ceremony as she thinks one should only turn up when one gets a nomination.

The actress claimed that she will be watching the event on TV with her husband Stuart Townsend.
Speaking at the Dublin International Film Festival, she said: "We are not going. I don't think you go to those kind of award shows unless you are nominated.
"I think it's a special thing if you get a nomination, or your film does. Then you go.
"But we don't have any nominations or anything like that in the house, so we sit in our jammies and watch it on the couch."
Lydia Sum dead at 60

Hong Kong actress and comedian Lydia Sum passed away in a hospital today, Channel NewsAsia reports. She was 60-years-old.
Sum had been suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure, among other illnesses.
Her last public appearance was at the 40th TVB Anniversary ceremony in November.
She was wheeled out on stage to accept the TVB Grand Award in a pink outfit, complete with her signature wig and black-rimmed glasses.
