Katharine McPhee weds

American Idol contestant Katharine McPhee married her partner Nick Cokas in Beverly Hills on Feb 2, Digital Spy reports. McPhee lost out of Taylor Hicks in the final of the 2006 reality TV show.

The 23-year-old’s fellow American Idol contestants Kellie Pickler and Mandisa were among the guests at the ceremony.

McPhee and her 42-year-old husband, Nick Cokas, met in 2005. The couple got engaged last year.

She told People magazine: “(Nick) is the love of my life. This is a once in a lifetime occasion and everything is just perfect.”
